The mother of Naadira Vanker has urged the public to stop speculating on the circumstances surrounding her death.

Nayema was speaking Radio Islam following the discovery of her 30-year-old daughter’s body on Wednesday at the Phumlamqashi, informal settlement near Lenasia South.

Naadira  was reported missing last week after her car was found in Ennerdale, south of Johannesburg.

Police are investigating a case of murder.

An emotional and heartbroken Naeema has urged the public for privacy and for the police to be allowed to their work.

Please wait for us as a family to find out what happened. The police is handling it, but Shahiem from Lethal Forces will be taking all the calls and he will see it from here through.”

Nayema has pleaded with anyone with information about Naadira’s death to contact the police.
