Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says the African National Congress (ANC) and President Cyril Ramaphosa have abandoned black people and is daydreaming.
Malema was reacting to Ramaphosa’s first State of the Nation Address after the May elections on Thursday night.
Ramaphosa set out seven priorities and “five fundamental goals” his government would focus its efforts on over the next five to 10 years.
Malema says Ramaphosa is daydreaming.
“He comes here to tell us about his dreams. The man wanted to be president for the last thirty years, for more then three decades. He still doesn’t know what he wants to do for South Africa, except to tell us that he’s dreaming.”
Malema also says the ANC has abandoned promises it made to South Africans during the election campaigns.
“The ANC has abandoned the agenda to expropriate land without compensation because they make black people stupid. They used it during elections, the elections are over.”
Malema says Ramaphosa has got no privilege of dreaming. “Me and you can dream.”
