A gaming expert says it may be too early for parents to celebrate as Fortnight plunged into a black hole.
One of the biggest games in the world which is loved by teens, gamers and even adults has been unplayable since Monday.
Users can load into the game but can’t do anything but watch a black hole slowly swirl on screen, or play a little Space Invaders clone if they input the Konami code.
It’s widely believed that when the game is back up and running it will be a rebooted version featuring a brand new map.
Speaking to Radio Islam, Grant Hinds says Fortnite is not gone forever.
“That game is making so much money and it’ll be silly if they just shut it down. Also people have bought things in the game already like skins and if it just disappeared people are going to be mad there money just went for nothing.”
Hinds explains that Fornite is beta mode.
“Beta means that the game hasn’t fully come out yet. It means they’ve been testing a few things and people have forgotten that the game has been in Beta this whole time. So I’ve got a feeling now it’s a big launch as soon as they go on live. There’s big rumour that tonight it’s gonna go live.”
Hinds says despite rumors, South African billionaire and owners of Space X and Tesla is not behind Fornite being thrust into a black hole.
