A group of armed men are on the run following a robbery at the Stock Mart store in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg on Wednesday.
“We had a business robbery this afternoon at Lenasia whereby a group of six people went to a wholesale shop and pointed a firearm,” the police’s Kay Makhubela said.
“They took an undisclosed amount of cash.”
Makhubela said the police are continuing with their investigations and have appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
On Monday a 50-year-old woman was also robbed in Lenasia when she was accosted by 3 men who stole her cellphone and fled.
