Two men were caught in connection with a string of crimes in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg on Thursday 20th March.
The two men aged 34 and 35 were arrested for allegedly producing compact disks with an estimated street value of R 2,5 million.
Officials said one of the suspects was a doctor.
Police also closed down three shops in the area following the early afternoon raid.
Police spokesperson Katlego Mogale said six luxury vehicles including a Cadillac, a BMW, a Mercedes Benz ML, a Toyota Corolla, a Mitsubishi and a Nissan Skyline believed to have been stolen, were recovered at the house of one of the men.
“Police also recovered a home affairs immigration stamp as well as one from the department of transport and public works of Botswana,” said Mogale.
The men would appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court soon.
