A 35-year-old Bangladeshi man has been stabbed to death in Hydrangea Avenue in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg this afternoon.

It’s understood a group of men were arguing over a cellphone when one pulled out a knife and stabbed the man.

The police’s Captain Hector Netshivodza says two men have been arrested.

“A 35-year-old guy from Bangladesh was fighting with his friends. Unfortunately one of them stabbed the victim who was certified dead at the crime scene.”

Netshivodza says police are investigating a case of murder.
