The Lenasia Post Office in Extension 13 will close its doors on the 31 January 2023 for good.
This comes after several months of intermittent service due to robbery and cable theft.
Cash and other items were stolen from the post office in May 2022.
The post office in the north of Lenasia serves more than 2600 households.
Service Delivery at this post office included mail delivery, motor vehicle licences as well payments for water and electricity bills.
Residents in this area will now have to travel to the main Post Office in Lenasia Ext 1 or Trade Route Mall Post Office for their service delivery needs.
