Lebanon’s army arrests 18 people with links to Daesh some Syrians and some Lebanese.
Field operations that took place over two weeks ago in the border town of Arsal brought the individuals arrest.
Scores of weapons and ammunition found in their possession was seized in the apprehension of the individuals.
Arsal, is a town and municipality situated east of Labweh, about a 124 kilometres northeast of Beirut, in Baalbek District of Baalbek-Hermel, a desolate area in the mountain region between Syria and Lebanon, previously a base of operations for rebels fighting in the Syrian civil war including militants from the group formerly known as the Nusra front and the group known as Daesh.
