Concern has been raised by residents of Extension 13 in Lenasia following attempts by a group of people allegedly trying to occupy land illegally in the area, south of Johannesburg.
At the beginning of the month, residents came face to face with the alleged land invaders who arrived in bakkies with spades and wheelbarrows to occupy a piece of land in the area.
Radio Islam discusses the latest developments with the Democratic Alliance’s Ward 9 councilor Kishore Badal and the African National Congress’s Zareena Motala.
The Economic Freedom Fighters were approached to join in on the conversation, however could not confirm a representative by the time of the interview.
