Synopsis:
The most comprehensive books on the Ambiya (AS) was compiled a long time ago by Imam ibn Kathir (ra). Many such books draw from Israeeli narrations and Jewish sources and cannot be suitably and qualifiedly authenticated. Here comes a book with narrations from the seerah not in conflict with the Quran and Sunnah and structured in a chorological order. The author draws from the work of Shah Waliullah (RA)’s work wherein he divided the Quran into 4 divisions – Ahkam, An’aam, A’laa (reminders/signs) and the Ayaam’ of Allah, wherein we learn how those who didn’t obey Allah were punished. He fails to mention this though.
