Radio Islam International received a warm and raucous welcome at the Bosmont Madressa in Johannesburg yesterday.
As part of our Hajj 2017 focus, Radio Islam has initiated an art competition for pupils to create models, drawings and paintings depicting the symbols of hajj.
This is the second year that Radio Islam has been running the competition which has drawn huge interest and entries from madressa’s, schools and pupils from across the country.
Imam and principal of the Bosmont Madressa Malick Johennesse says they are truly appreciative that Radio Islam has included their institution to be part of the Hajj focus this year.
“It has also given them the opportunity of really reaching it out and expressing their artistic side. The madressa’s are these says challenging and I think this was a great opportunity for them to show that they are doing something that is very unique. May Allah bless them and may Allah bless Radio Islam and the relationship the community has with Radio Islam Insha’Allah ameen.”
