Sick and tired of potholes and faulty traffic lights?

The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) said it was confident that its new Find & Fix application would improve service delivery in the city.

The app will allow motorists to notify the agency with pin-point accuracy about potholes and faulty traffic lights.

The first of its kind in the country, the app seeks to create a partnership between Joburg citizens and the Agency by providing the latest technology with which to report any road related defects at the click of a button.

“The launch of this new smartphone app forms part of the JRA‟s turnaround strategy and service delivery drive”, said Skhumbuzo Macozoma, JRA Managing Director,

“The app has the ability of reconciling calls.”

“The organisation is committed to becoming more accessible to citizens and road users and to developing itself into a centre of engineering excellence with enhanced service delivery and satisfied customers,” said Macozaoma

Available in the Windows Phone marketplace and Google Play store for Android, the JRA said that the iOS version of the app for iPhones will be available from 24 May 2014.
