The City of Johannesburg Mayoral Committee led by the Executive Mayor, Councillor Parks Tau sent best wishes to the Muslim community as they begun Ramadan.
“The month of Ramadan is the most significant month on the Islamic Calendar, and as a diverse City, it is befitting to recognise and wish our Muslim Joburg residents well as they join their global counterparts to part-take in the holy month,” Mayor Tau said.
“May the immense blessings and virtues of this month benefit all the members of the Muslim community,” he said.
