It’s the Children Who Suffer Pain After a Divorce

June 11, 2017

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 11-06-2017

While the heartbreak of divorce may be excruciating, the pain suffered by children when the home is broken leaves scars that may take years to heal or even leave permanent damage.

Radio Islam’s 2017 Ramadan drama has highlighted a number of issues related to the heartbreak of divorce, but the most important lessons is the welfare and best interests of the children after a marriage is dissolved.

While parents find it extremely difficult to find closure after a divorce, in many cases they metamorph into a character that is contrary to the tenets of the beautiful deen Islam.

Parents say that the heartbreak of losing a child to a vindictive and selfless significant other is just too much pain to bear.

Radio Islam’s Moulana Habib Bobat says that parents should have the best interests of the children when they split up.

“It’s not fair because the children suffer. You are going to hear this point maybe 120 times or even 121 times. But it’s fine. If that’s the only message you pick up from this drama, we achieved our objective.”

Ml Bobat say the reality is that while Heartbreak is a just a drama on a local Islamic radio station, there are many people that are actually enduring the reality of events depicted in the programme.
