Israeli has stooped to a new low after citing verses from the Holy Qur’an to justify its attack and bombardment of Gaza killing innocent Palestinians, women and children.
The Apartheid states official Arabic-language Twitter account cited a verse from Surah Al-Fil, which refers to Allah’s punishment inflicted on the People of the Elephant, who tried to destroy the Holy Kaaba centuries ago.
Middle East Eye report a reasonable inference would be that the Israeli occupation forces is comparing itself to the birds carrying clay pebbles which were dropped on Abraha’s army.
In a follow-up post in the same Twitter thread, the account says: “This is a reminder of God’s ability to support those who are righteous over falsehood, especially since Hamas is the arm of Iran that seeks to ignite the region. The IDF targets Hamas terrorist targets in Gaza.”
The tweet included an image of Rafah City, Gaza in flames, following the Israeli bombardment there last Thursday.
