Iran has been accused of having fired a missile at an Israeli-owned ship in the Arabian Sea.

Reuters reports that Israeli Channel 12 had broadcast that the Israeli-owned vessel had been attacked by a missile. The container ship has sustained damage but had nevertheless reportedly been able to continue on its course from Tanzania to India, where it will undergo an assessment.

While, the incident was reported to Israel’s security establishment and to the owners of the Haifa-based shipping company, Reuters reports that  Israeli authorities would not confirm the event.
