Apple’s new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be officially available in South Africa from midnight tonight at retailers and mobile network operators around the country.
Lunched on the 9th September at the Flint Center in Cupertino, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus boast larger screens and a completely new iPad-style design with an ultra-thin body and rounded corners.
The two new iPhones also offer faster processors, better cameras, and Apple’s new software that turns them into a virtual wallet, as Apple introduces mobile payment service Apple Pay, which will let user’s process credit card and other financial transactions with the device.
While no one has officially announced their prices yet, the recommended retail prices for some retailer’s wholesale prices were leaked.
Apple’s new iPhones are available in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray, and are available in 16, 64, and 128 GB capacities.
