Hujjaj have left the blessed city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia after completing this year’s exceptional and downsized Hajj.
Only sixty-thousand Saudi citizens performed Hajj this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a far cry from the millions that embark on the pilgrimage annually.
The Hajj over the last two years has been downscaled by Saudi Arabia’s Hajj Ministry to avoid the spread of COVID-19 in the kingdom and also to keep Hujjaj safe during their rituals.
After completing the stoning ritual earlier, Hujjaj left the tent city of Mina for Makkah to perform Tawaf Al-Wida.
The Hujjaj were seen in a spiritually elevated and euphoric mood after completing their lifetime spiritual journey.
Radio Islam’s Hajj reporter Suhayl Mank who was among the Hujjaj who performed Hajj this year says they had a wonderful hajj experience.
“We Alhamdulillah returned home safely after an amazing five day trip. I cannot appreciate enough all the work that they done for us. They’ve made this experience very smooth, very comfortable and it’s an experience, a hajj experience that you know you could pay all the money in the world and you wouldn’t get a hajj that would be Alhamdulillah as easy and as comfortable as this really.”
Mank has made dua that Allah grant all the Hujjaj a Hajj Mabroor, Ameen.
