How Smartphones Break

You’ve just bought a brand new top of the range smartphone and have done everything possible to protect it.

The shiny device which costs a small fortune is wrapped in the latest cover, with tampered glass and other protect gear and you think ‘no way is this phone going to break’. 

However, you could be wrong. Smartphones have become an essential tool for today’s life, with nearly 20 million people connected in South Africa alone. 

With phones almost constantly in-hand, damage to a device is almost a given, whether from being dropped or some other accident. Getting a broken or damaged phone fixed quickly and reliably is vital. 

We look at the stats of who is most likely to lose or damage their cell phone.
