Social media is in a frenzy after bookings and payments were made for foreign holidays through ‘Hello Darlings’ but CEO, Tasneem “Tazz” Moosa has disappeared after she failed to respond to communication with clients.
Moosa has since deactivated her social media accounts and contact details as she allegedly vanished with millions of rands paid by clients. Many of whom were booked on trips to Turkey, Maldives, Dubai etc.
Clients blame social media influences for making them believe the holiday was legitimate after influences went on trips to the Maldives, etc., and shared images.
An anonymous client says she was convinced that the holiday packages by ‘Hello Darlings’ were legitimate as many of her friends had used the agency and had great reviews about it. She adds that she was found the agency through Instagram and was captivated with the ‘buy-1-get-1-free’ package advertised on social media.
Speaking to Radio Islam, clients have shared their shock and disbelief after being lured in by the exotic holidays Moosa shared on social media.
