The Imam of the Haram in Makkah in Saudi Arabia Sheikh Bandar Bin Abdulaziz Balila has urged Muslims not to call on anyone besides Allah and that Allah is only to be worshipped in the way that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told us to.
Sheikh Balila was rending the Arafah Khutbah just before midday on Monday at Masjid Namira on the plains of Arafah in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The theme of the Arafah khubah focused around the term of Ihsaan or human and was broadcast in ten languages across the globe.
Only 60,000 pilgrims were allowed to perform Hajj in 1442/2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sheikh Balila says Almighty Allah does not waste anyone’s hard work.
“The most important part of that ihsaan lies in tawheed (sincerely devoting all worship to Allah alone). Another method of ihsaan is using the best In adversity, turn to your Lord with humility, penitence, and hope.Protect your prayers. Worship as if you are looking at Allah, Allah has commanded to do good to people, it is in the Qur’an that whoever bows down before Allah is a benefactor. Fear Allah Almighty, adopt abstinence, the requirement of faith is also to pay Zakaat.”
Sheikh Balila says indeed Allah is with those who do good.
“Allah created human beings of the highest standard and sent them into the world. Do not spread corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like those who spread corruption. Treat your parents kindly. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are arrogant. Obey Allah and seek help from Him. Allah Almighty will hold us accountable for every action we take. Enmity and hatred should be eliminated.”
Sheikh Balila also urged Muslim to establish goodness in society and social affairs.
“The Qur’an commands you to be kind to your wives. Whoever does good in this world will prosper in the Hereafter. Allah has always kept the door of repentance open for His servants.”
Sheik Balila also reiterated on the quality of patience.
“Be patient with the troubles and problems that come from the people. Do good. Allah loves those who do good. Allah’s mercy is very near. Death and life were created to test who does good.”
He also urged Muslims that when they slaughter an animal, they must do it well so that it does not get hurt.
Sheikh Balila also wished all the Hujjaj well during Hajj making dua that Allah accept all the efforts of those who have been invited to perform Hajj and also thanking King Salman bin Abdul Aziz al Saud and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman for the efforts during this years Hajj.
