Police have confirmed that Fourways Mall, south of Johannesburg is safe following threats of a bomb scare.
Shoppers and workers were evacuated from the mall today after reports emerged of a bomb inside one of the bathrooms in the building.
The police’s Kay Makhubela says the explosive unit was sent to the shopping centre but nothing was found.
“The explosive unit were called and there was a search and people were evacuated, but at the moment it was clear that there is no bomb in the building.”
