The father of a 4-year-old boy who was killed and his 13-year-old brother injured in an accident in Lenasia has thanked the community for their support.
Ziyaad Hassaim and his brother Fareed were crossing Flamingo Street when the car ploughed into them on Saturday.
Father of the boys Mohammed told Radio Islam the family is devastated by the passing of Ziyaad and has thanked Lenasian’s for their support during this difficult time.
“I just want to thank the community for standing by me after the accident that happened on the weekend. I just want to say Jazak’Allah to everyone from the bottom of my heart.”
The circumstances surrounding the accident are still unclear at this stage.
