The Energy Department has released the latest petrol price adjustments for announcing that the price of both 93 and 95 octane petrol will increase by 4 cents a litre from November.
The price of diesel will increase by 23 cents and 27 cents a litre, while illuminating paraffin will increase by 21 cents a litre.
The department says the petrol price hikes are due to the international prices of diesel increasing, while the weakness in the rand versus the dollar offset the decrease in international petrol prices including shipping costs.
The department has warned that motorists should prepare for further fuel price hikes before the festive season.
