Emirates says it has not suspended a pilot who allegedly refused to fly to Tel Aviv in Israel.

Monem Saheb al-Taba, a pilot believed to be of  Tunisian descent shared a post on Facebook claiming that he was suspended from the airline.

Al-Taba says he was suspended pending his presentation to the disciplinary committee.

Al-Tabah claims he also closed his Facebook account after being pressured by Emirates.

However Emirates has hit back saying they have not suspended any Tunisian pilot.

“Emirates has never employed any pilot by this name and all reports circulating on social media around this are false.”
