An elderly man has reportedly been killed and four others injured in a fire in Lenasia.
It’s understood the blaze started in one of the room of the house in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency service say the injured patients were rushed to hospital for further care.
Pulsate’s Shoaib Ebrahim says fire emergency services were on scene for further investigations.
“I understand it was an elderly gentleman. The fire started in his room and he succumbed to his injuries and there were four patients transported to Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada for further management, but they were not life threatening.”
The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
