Police are investigating a case of house robbery after an elderly couple were robbed at the Nirvana old age home in Lenasia.
It’s understood the suspects gained entry into the home through the kitchen window in the early hours of this morning while the couple were sleeping.
The couple who are in their late 80’s were not harmed during the robbery.
The police’s Hector Netshivodza says their investigations are continuing.
“The old couple were sleeping in their bedroom when they were confronted by three unknown suspects who told them to keep quiet and they started to ransack the house and took some jewellery and cash. At this stage nobody’s arrested, we are investigating a case of house robbery.”
