Dua for (Headaches) Pain, Fever, Adversity

Pain:

Uthman bin Abul-'As (RA) narrates: "The Messenger of Allah the Almighty (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) visited me while i was in pain. The pain was so intense that i kept thinking to myself, i will die now. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said, 'Massage the area with your right hand 7 times saying:

A'udhu bi'izzatillahi wa qudratihi wa sultanihi min sharri ma ajidu.'

Uthman (RA) narrates: "I did exactly that and Allah the Almighty removed my pain. After that I always told my family and acquaintances of this practise."

This is an authentic Hadith.
(Tirmdhi, vol 2, p29)

Fever:

Yunus bin Habib (RA) narrates: "I asked Abu Ja'far Muhammad bin Ali (RA) about the permission to possess amulets (Ta'awidh). He said, 'Yes you have permission so long as they are derived from the Book of Allah the Almighty or from the words of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam).' He said that I may use them to seek cure from fever. He told me to write the following words on them:

Ya naru kuni bardan wa salaman 'ala Ibrahim. Wa aradu bihi kaydan faja'alna humul akhsareen. Allahumma rabba Jibrila wa Mikaa'ila wa Israfila ishfi sahiba hadhal kitab."

This has been narrated by Jarir.

Adversity:

It is narrated on the authority of Asma bint 'Umais (RA) that the Messenger of Allah the Almighty (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: "Shall i not tell you of words that you may say in adversity (so as to lead to well being). They are:

Allahu Allahu rabbi laa ushriku bihi shai'an" (Sunan Ibn Majah, p277)
