The Democratic Alliance (DA) says it’s Shadow Minister of Social Development Bridget Masango will be laying criminal charges against former Minister Bathabile Dlamini at Cape Town Central Police Station on Friday.
The party says Dlamini failed to report her knowledge that wives of African National Congress (ANC) members who were allegedly involved in dubious relationships with Cash Paymaster Services (CPS).
In a statement, the DA says it gave Dlamini 48 hours to report the alleged corruption to police as she claimed to be aware of in her resignation letter.
“Dlamini has for far too long gotten away with evading accountability and the DA will ensure that she along with her ANC cronies get their day in court.”
