The Health Department has announced that the number of COVID-19 infections in South Africa has risen to 11,350.
This is an increase of 698 from Monday’s announcement.
The number of deaths remain the same at 206.
The Western Cape has the most infections with 6,105, followed by Gauteng at 2,014, KwaZulu-Natal 1,394, Free State 135, North West 51, Mpumalanga 63, Limpopo 54, Eastern Cape 1,504, Northern Cape 30 and unallocated infections 0.
Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says the total number of COVID-19 tests conducted to date is 369,697 this is an increase of 13,630, which were done in the last 24 hours.
