Cold Snap to Hit Gauteng

November 13, 2017

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 13-11-2017

Gauteng residents can expect a cold snap with temperatures expected to drop significantly on Thursday.

The SA Weather Service says the cold front will also affect most parts of the country from the middle of the week.

Forecaster Bransby Bulo says maximum temperatures will peak at around 16 and 19 degrees.

“The cold conditions will start in the sub-west, that is namely the Western Cape from tomorrow, then spread to the Eastern Cape on Wednesday and than to include Gauteng by Thursday.”

Bulo says there is also a 60% chance of showers and thundershowers expected in Gauteng.

He says residents can expect warmer temperatures from the beginning of the weekend.
