August 10, 2015

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News, 2015-08-10

Two brothers were shot dead at a parking lot of a block of flats in Esplanade in Durban on Sunday.

It’s understood an argument ensued between a 57-year-old man and the two brothers over a parking space on the corner of Dorothy Nyembe Street,  Gardiner Street and Margaret Mncadi Avenue [Victoria Embankment]

The police’s Jay Naicker says the man produced a 9mm pistol and shot both the brothers dead.

“Police attended to the incident and the suspect has been arrested. The firearm has been seized and he has been detained on charges of murder.”

Earlier Netcare 911’s Chris Botha said paramedics arrived at the scene and found the two men to have died before their arrival due to the extensive wounds they sustained.
