A 14-month-old baby has been killed after it is believed he inhaled gas in Klerksdorp in the North West.
It’s understood that a family member found the baby and his parents this morning in the room where the family had slept last night.
Paramedics say when they arrived on scene they found the two adults to be unconscious.
ER24’s Annine Siddall says local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
“Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do to save the baby and he was declared dead on scene.”
Siddall says the two adults were transported to Tshepong Hospital for further medical care.
