A new-born baby has been found dead in a rubbish bin outside a complex in Douglasdale, Fourways.
It’s understood the little boy was found yesterday by a man who had been rummaging through the bins.
ER24’s Russel Meiring says they were called to the scene by the complex security members.
“Upon arrival, paramedics found that the baby had been wrapped in a cloth and plastic bag. It was evident to paramedics that the baby had been dead for some time. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the baby and he was declared dead.”
Meiring says local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
