A 58-year-old man from Azaadville, West of Johannesburg has been killed in a house robbery.
It’s understood Rashid Patel was shot several times by a group of robbers who broke into the home in the early hours of this morning.
According to the Azaadville Neighbourhood Watch (ANW) nothing was taken from the house.
“At 2:30am this morning there was a house break-in. An unknown number of intruders got into the house. The owner of the house woke up, shot were fired and he passed on. They guys (robbers) got away.”
Police were on scene for further investigations.
