Lenasia police are investigating a case of business robbery after three armed suspects robbed the Caltex Garage along the K43 near Lenasia.
It’s understood the criminals stormed the shop on Wednesday accosting the petrol attendant.
Police says the suspects tied up a female employee and the attendant before ransacking the outlet.
The police’s Bafana Ndimande says no one was hurt during the robbery.
“The males took the female’s cellphone, two computer screens, cigarettes and energy drinks to the total value of R14845,00. The males drove off and the victims managed to untie themselves.”
Ndimande has appealed to anyone with information about the robbery to contact the police.
