Executive Director of Corruption Watch David Lewis says the response by the African National Congress to allegations made in the State Capture Inquiry against some of its senior members is appalling.
Lewis told Radio Islam that the ANC should be embarrassed.
“To have somebody like Ace Magashule as your secretary general, he bleated on about you are innocent until proven guilty, ethically there’s no reason for keeping her in the cabinet or in the leadership of the ANC, and she’s a disgrace.”
Meanwhile, the ANC says they will act against its leaders accused of ‘bribe-taking’, but it’s first awaiting to hear the other side.
