ANC Management to Engage Staff Over Unpaid Salaries

August 26, 2021

Faizel Patel – 26/08/2021

The African National Congress (ANC) says management will continue to engage with staff representatives as employees across the country prepare to picket over the non-payment of salaries.

The ruling party  has not paid its employees for several months now.

The ANC says management has received a notice from staff about the picket,.

“As a result of this wildcat strike, ANC offices throughout the country will be closed as of tomorrow. The ANC management will continue to engage with staff representatives on their grievances, with a view to find a solution, so that we can resume normal operations.”

The party’s Pule Mabe said that it was not the first time the party found itself in this position.
