The Leader of the African Democratic Christian party, Reverend Kenneth Meshoe says Islam has done nothing for the African continent. He made the speech in front of party supporters. He has also accused Muslims of bribing African leaders across the continent.

He has also been accused of promoting a Jewish lobby in the South African parliament.

The reverend claims that apartheid South Africa survived because they stood with Israel. The nationalist party regime is known as one of the cruellest in the 20th century.

He says the ACDP will win the 2009 election because they also support Israel.

Those who bless Israel, says the reverend, God will bless them.
