Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a Lenasia man was found at the entrance of Lehae near the Golden Highway, south of Johannesburg.
The body of 26-year-old Abrar Ahmed Jeebhai was found by a passer-by this week.
Jeebhai who was a teacher at the Sir John Adamson High School in Winchester Hills was reported missing on Monday when he failed to report for work.
The polices Hector Nethivodza says the motive for the murder is not known.
“We received information about a dead body lying next to the Golden Highway in Lehae and he had several wounds around his body. At that stage he was still unknown to us and when investigated we found out that the person who was found is the very same person man who was reported missing.”
Netshivodza has appealed to anyone with information regarding the murder to come forward.
