Charles Nqakula evades questions around Selebi

Safety and Security Minister Charles Nqakula continues to evade questions as to why controversial police National Commissioner Jackie Selebi will not be suspended.

 

Nqakula abstained from answering certain questions saying there is a process in place to deal with the matter.

The National Prosecuting Authority is currently conducting a review of its investigation of Selebi.

Nqakula said he did not want to be involved in an inquisition.

According to reports, the minister answered most questions with the same answers word for word.
