Istighfaar – Seeking Forgiveness

April 10, 2008

Whosoever seeks forgiveness using these words (with a sincere heart) will be forgiven even though he may have fled from the battlefield. In another narration it has come: even though his sins are equal to the foam of the sea (countless).

I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides whom none is worthy of Worship, The Living; The Ever-Living; and towards Him do I turn repentant.
