Two more ships carrying grain have left Ukraine’s Chornomorsk port.
This brings the total number of shops to leave Ukraine’s Black Sea ports to 27.
The ships, Zumrut Ana and MV Ocean S, departed on Saturday and were loaded with 6,300 tonnes of sunflower oil and 25,000 tonnes of wheat respectively.
Ukraine’s grains exports dropped since the start of the war because its Black Sea ports were closed.
This led to global food prices skyrocketing and fears of shortages in the Middle East and Africa.
At the end of last month, three Ukrainian Black Sea ports were unblocked under a deal between Moscow and Kyiv, brokered by the United Nations and Turkey.
The three ports that have been unblocked are: Yuzhny, Chornomorsk and Odesa
A Joint Coordination Centre with officials from the three countries and the UN has been set up in Istanbul to oversee the shipments.
Since the first ship left Ukraine under the deal, over 656,000 tons of Ukrainian grain have been delivered to world markets.
