A robbery left three victims in critical condition. It claimed the life of one on Nirvana Drive Lenasia, Extension 9, opposite Rietfontein firehouse. The victim that died on the scene is a 22-year-old who was later identified as Aadil Asmal. Travelling from the Devland business, the victims were forced off the road and shot as their vehicle overturned.
A media statement released by SAPS Lenasia Communication Officer Sgt Bafana Ndimande said three unidentified males sustained gunshot wounds on their upper bodies. The emergency service arrived at the scene and found one amongst the victims had already passed away, and the others badly wounded. They were all rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
It was further alleged that the victims were driving from work when a White Toyota Quest with an unknown license number tried to overtake. The driver lost control, and therefore the car overturned. Two unknown African males from a Toyota Quest approached and commenced shooting at the victims. The pathologists transferred the deceased to the government Mortuary. The statement read that the motive for murder and attempted murder is unknown at this stage.
According to Opera News, the standard members of the general public are frankly tired of the criminal activities happening within the country as they’re happening at such an alarming rate.
“More has to be done to ensure that the Citizens of this country are safe from the criminal activities of those individuals who don’t have any reservations about shooting ordinary members of the general public in broad daylight to induce whatever they need. This has destroyed the lives of too many members of the general public.”
These executions are being perpetrated on the standard members of the general public as the criminals have escorted their victims out of the car only to shoot them on the side of the road. It’s something new and has got to be investigated to understand precisely what is being dealt with.
The shootout is too much to bear as South African people are no longer safe to travel even before midnight; such robberies happen. The police are already engaged in a murder and attempted murder case to search for the suspects behind the robbery.
