Former MKMVA President & ANC MP Kebby Maphatsoe Passes Away

TheUmkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans’ Association (MKMVA) has confirmed that Kebby Maphatsoe has died.

Maphatsoe passed away on Tuesday.

Maphatsoe served as deputy minister of defence from 2014 to 2019 and African National Congress (ANC) MP and was a loyal supporter of former president Jacob Zuma.

He also served as the national chairperson of the defunct MKMVA since 2007= and is a former member of the Congress of South African Students, Soweto Youth Congress and the South African Youth Congress (SAYCO).
