As Gauteng ramps up the COVID-19 vaccination rollout in various communities, the Gauteng Health Department has urged Lenasian’s to get vaccinated against the virus.

Health Department officials were at the temporary taxi rank on Tuesday in Lenasia encouraging taxi drivers, shoppers and residents to get their COVID-19 jab.

To date, the province has administered vaccines to more than 2 million people of the adult population out of more than 11 million.

Local ward councillor Imraan Moosa has urged people to get vaccinated.
