A young couple from Crosby have allegedly been electrocuted at their home.
According to a tweet by social cohesion activist Yusuf Abramjee, the details of the incident which apparently took place on Sunday remains unclear.
It is believed the couple had just returned from their honeymoon.
Abramjee tweeted: “Residents in the area have been complaining about blackouts and power surges.”
In a follow up tweet Abramjee says the incident needs to be urgently investigated.
City Power could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
