Lenasia police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder after man was shot dead and another wounded in Lenasia Drive opposite Shell Garage.
Police says they were informed of the shooting on Thursday and upon arrival found a man lying on the ground with gunshot wounds on his face.
The police’s Bafana Ndimande says another person who was also shot was taken to hospital for treatment.
“The other information was that a Grey Audi motor vehicle with unknown registration number was seen leaving the crime scene at a high speed. The motive for the murder is unknown at this stage.”
Ndimande has appeal to the Lenasia community to assist police with any information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
