Forty-Seven more people have died in South Africa after contracting the coronavirus, pushing the death toll to 52,082.

Over 1.462,000 million people have so far recuperated, putting our recovery rate at 95%.
South Africa has so far inoculated just over 188,000 healthcare workers since the Sisonke trial, which started in February.
Meanwhile, EWN reports the South African Medical Association (SAMA) says government should ease fears over COVID-19 vaccines side effects.
Some healthcare workers say they have experienced some side effects from the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine including fatigue and headaches after receiving their jabs.
Sama says while the reported cases are not severe, they are a cause for concern.
