One hundred and ninety four more people have died here in South Africa after contracting COVID-19.
These latest fatalities have pushed our known death toll to 50,271
The Health Department has also confirmed that 856 more people have been infected with the Coronavirus in the past 24 hours with case load now at 1,514,815
Our recovery is at 94.6% with 1,433,320 people having recuperated so far from the pandemic.
